APA-YPO Toastmasters Club Tournament! Come on by to watch some exciting speeches made by your club members as they battle it out for the top honors. Contestants will compete in one of two categories: Humorous Speech, and Table Topics.

All members will vote for the best speakers based on the criteria given for each speech. Click here for the Humorous Speech judging criteria. Click here for the Table Topics judging criteria.

A special, super secret prize will be awarded at the end of the tournament to the winners. Mark your calenders to come support your fellow Toastmasters in their attempt to win the big one!

Please tell us which category you are interested in competing in. Contestants may compete in more than one category. Registration deadline is Wednesday August 28, 2002.

Welcome By James Song

Inspiration and Pledge by Harold Burman. Harold shares with us two quotes and talks about continuing to build up our mind and body. We are never too old to set goals.

Prepared Speeches:

Jack Sun's speech is on Dr. Wen Ho Lee. Jack talks about Wen Ho Lee's background as a Chinese scientist that was accused of a crime he didn't commit. Jack says that through Wen Ho Lee we are taught courage.

Debra Pickral speech is titled "Three Miracles". Debra talks about three miracles that have happened in her life.

Table Topics Master is Tae Lee. The three questions are 1) What's so good or bad about getting older? 2) What is one life lesson you learned 3) What goal do you want to accomplish in the future

General Evaluator is Frank Fu. Some suggestions are that the TTM should remind people the word of the day. Also, Make more room up at front!
