Program Description:

This year LAMP features a half-day of lecture sessions. This leadership symposium will focus primarily on sharpening your communication skills, moving one step higher to take you from “Good” to “Excellence”, and your personal branding to success. We have invited three outstanding lecturers for the program, Ms. Lorri Allen, Ms. JoAnn Georgostathis, and Mr. Sanjeev Venkatesan.

Lorri runs Good News!, an organization that works with people who want to craft a clear media message and with organizations that want to communicate quickly in crisis. Lorri coaches participants to make sure their messages are as understandable and precise as those delivered by a TV Anchor.

JoAnn is Senior Training and Development Specialist for Raytheon Learning Institute. She provides training for the Strategic Leadership Program (SLP) and the Leading for Value Program (LVP) for team leaders throughout Raytheon. JoAnn explores key components of excellence that will affect your professional and personal life.

Sanjeev Venkatesan is Senior Principal Software Engineer on Army's Key program called Future Combat Systems. In addition to his program responsibilities he was also selected as a candidate for Raytheon's Engineering Leadership Development Program. Sanjeev will discuss the importance of self branding to differentiate yourself in the workplace and to position yourself to succeed among your peers.
