Time: 7:30pm - midnight
Location: May Dragon, 4848 Belt Line Rd, Dallas, TX 75254

Imagine this scenario: You have mid pocket pair and the flops are all face cards. Your opponent goes all-in, what do you do? Welcome to game of No Limit Texas Hold'em where you never know what is going to happen next.

APEX would like to invite you to join us for our 3rd Annual Charity Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament. In the past, we have donated the proceeds to Women's Shelter and Asian Breast Health Outreach Project. This year, we will help fund a new community service project supporting Gardeners in Community Development (GICD). We will be providing much needed tools and supplies along with manpower to help revitalize the Asian Gardens this Fall.

The game will consist of two groups of tables, tournament and satellite. The tournament tables will start promptly at 8:00pm. The satellite tables will be available for those not playing in the tournament. Top winner of each group will be awarded with prizes and recognition.

Limited food and beverages will be provided. A cash bar is also available.

Please RSVP to Michael Tsao, michael@apexdallas.org by Monday, June 5, to help us get an accurate head count.

About the Gardeners in Community Development Project:

Gardeners in Community Development (GICD), http://www.gardendallas.org, promotes community gardening as a way to enhance neighborhood life. Each year GICD makes it possible for hundreds of Dallas area families, mostly low-income, to enjoy fresh vegetables, herbs, fruits and flowers grown in community gardens. Some of the community gardens also grow extra vegetables and donate these to local food pantries. The East Dallas Community and Market Gardens, known as Asian Gardens, was started in 1987 as a project to support the Southeast Asian immigrants in the East Dallas community. There are 3 community gardens, one of which is a market garden. This Fall we will be planning projects to help revitalize the market garden in East Dallas. Stay tuned for more information on these projects from APEX in Action.
